ABOUT THE PENSION RIGHTS CENTER
In 2006, the Pension Rights Center celebrated its 30th year as the nation's only nonprofit consumer rights organization dedicated solely to protecting and promoting the pension rights of American workers, retirees and their families.
The Center has won pensions for thousands of individuals who had nowhere else to turn for help when their benefits were wrongly denied. Due to the efforts of the Pension Rights Center, numerous laws and regulations protecting retirement security for American workers are directly traceable to the Center's initiatives. As a result, millions of retirees, widows and divorced spouses are receiving pensions.
The Center has undertaken the Conversation on Coverage to begin a national dialogue on ways to expand pension coverage for millions of Americans. In this role, the Pension Rights Center acts as a facilitator to bring together a range of varied voices to begin the process of finding common ground.
